Success at the County Council Meeting
November 9th, 2011 | Posted by in Rescues | Shelter Updates | UncategorizedThe officers of the Humane Society of Marlboro County met with the Chairman and Vice-Chair of the County Council, the County Attorney and County Administrator after the County Council meeting last night. We are pleased to report that the meeting was productive. We feel certain that as a result of the meeting we are headed in the right direction. In the coming days, we will be working out the details of an agreement between the County and the Humane Society to operate the shelter. We will keep you updated on our progress.
