Can You Help?

February 5th, 2013 | Posted by HSMCadmin in Uncategorized - (Comments Off)

Whew! We have had a record number of intakes this past week, mostly puppies! Our shelter is also full of adult dogs and cats and kittens looking for a furever home. We provide medical care and vaccinations to all our residents and we go through an incredible amount of dog food, cat food, puppy food, cat litter and cleaning supplies each week.

Would you consider donating to help support our mission of helping the homeless animals of Marlboro County? You can donate on a one time basis or set up a monthly payment through by clicking on the links in the right hand column of the website.

We appreciate your support! We couldn’t do this without you!

Emergency Puppy Fosters Needed!

February 1st, 2013 | Posted by HSMCadmin in Uncategorized - (Comments Off)

EMERGENCY PUPPY FOSTERS NEEDED ASAP!

Our shelter has taken in 23 puppies since Monday with 9 more on the way. We already had 3 litters at the shelter. We are in puppy overload! Besides the fact that a shelter is no place for a puppy to be, WE HAVE NO ROOM!

Please consider helping us out even if it is just temporarily until we can get our head above water! We desperately need your help!

If you can foster, call Jennifer ASAP at 843-454-6330 (leave a voicemail if she doesn’t answer and she will call you back) or email us at humanesocietyofmarlborocounty@yahoo.com.

Please share this with your friends, you never know who might be willing to help! Thank you!

Consider Volunteering!

October 19th, 2012 | Posted by HSMCadmin in Rescues | Shelter Updates | Uncategorized - (Comments Off)

PLEASE consider volunteering with the Humane Society of Marlboro County and help us serve the homeless animals of our county.

If you are reading this, don’t just assume that someone else will step up and do it. We need EVERYONE’S help to make this Humane Society a success. We always need more volunteers so the same few are not overburdened.

You will not regret being a part of this wonderful team! :)

We can do more and accomplish more if we can delegate tasks and one person is not doing 10 things. If we have 10 people doing those 10 things, we produce better results.Take a look at this list and see if you can help or email us an area that have an interest in! We are open to suggestions!
